At Liner, we are committed to harnessing the power of AI responsibly and ethically. Our AI usage policy reflects our dedication to safety, privacy, and the protection of fundamental human rights. We strive to ensure that our AI technology comply with applicable laws and respect human dignity, freedoms and individual privacy. Our actions and policies are designed to reflect these values, ensuring that we operate as a trustworthy and reliable partner in all our endeavors.

We recognize that trust is the foundation of our relationship with our users. Therefore, we have developed the Usage Policy (the “Policy”) to guide individuals, developers, and businesses. This policy applies to all users of Liner’s products and using Liner’s products and services. As our technological landscape evolves and new potential risks emerge, we are committed to adapting our policies accordingly.

Prohibitions: Do not utilize Liner to use, use to share, or facilitate or allow others to use, for:

  1. Deceptive, Harmful or False Information

    1. Create and disseminate deceptive or misleading information
    2. Create interfere in elections
    3. Create and advance conspiracy theories and/or narratives
    4. Impersonate individuals or groups to mislead others
    5. Create misleading information related to medical, health, legal or science issues
    6. Create fake authoritative sources or crisis events, or falsely show public figures in certain contexts

  2. Real-world harm

    1. For the purpose of any violent threats, promotion of violence, incitement to violence, or promotion of criminal activities that may harm people, animals, or property
    2. Harass, harm, or encourage the harm of individuals or specific groups
    3. Compromise critical infrastructure (e.g., utility systems/facilities, governmental websites, etc.)
    4. Create or facilitate the exchange of illegal or highly regulated weapons or goods
    5. Glorify or promote for suicide or self-harm.

  3. Sexual Activity and Nudity

    1. Create and share pornographic, mature, explicit, and sexually suggestive content. In certain cases, we may make exceptions for nudity for educational, documentary, scientific and artistic content.
    2. Create and share non-consensual sexual acts and non-consensual intimate content
    3. Create and share content that promotes, normalizes, or glorifies sexual violence

  4. Illegal or Regulated Activities

    1. For the purpose of facilitating transactions, promotions or solicitations of illegal or regulated goods and services (e.g., drug, alcohol, paid service involving physical sexual contact, stolen goods, personal information, etc.)

  5. Minor Endangerment

    1. Create, distribute, or promote child sexual abuse material (“CSAM”). We strictly prohibit and will report to relevant authorities and organizations where appropriate any content that exploits or abuses minors
    2. Create imagery or digitally-created or manipulated media, that depicts abuse, exploitation, or endangerment of minors
    3. Create content that encourages dangerous acts and pranks involving minors that can lead to physical, mental, or emotional harm to minors
    4. Depict, promote, normalize or glorify underage consumption & possession of regulated goods (e.g. alcohol, drugs, vapes, tobacco)

  6. Hateful Content, Terrorism, and Violent Extremism

    1. Promote or provide material support to violent or hateful actors
    2. Instruction to perform dangerous acts or attacks
    3. Incite violence or hateful behavior
    4. Glorify, promote, condone, or express support for terrorist organizations, hate groups, criminal organizations, or gangs.

    *Simply Liner do not allow members of terrorist organizations, hate groups, criminal organizations, and gangs

  7. Platform Integrity

    1. Attempt to abuse Liner’s monetization policy (e.g. refund)
    2. For the purpose of spam, fraud, and scams
    3. Attempt to gain unauthorized access to Liner's systems or other users' accounts
    4. Attempt to reveal someone’s personal/entity’s confidential information
    5. Circumvent safety filters and functionality or prompt models to act in a manner that violates our Usage Policy
    6. Buy, sell, or solicit trading of Liner’s account
    7. Share or request Liner’s login credentials with third-party

Liner uses generative AI to provide search results and other content. You acknowledge that AI generated content may contain inaccuracies or biases on high risk areas including but not limited to: Academic research, testing, and admissions related; journalistic content; Legal advice; healthcare advice; insurance related; finance advice (e.g., lending/credit); OR housing or government benefits related information. Therefore, you shall conduct a thorough assessment of the potential risks associated with your specific use case. In addition, you must comply with your institution's policies on citing and attributing when using AI-generated content in works, especially academic works.

Liner will implement detections and monitoring features to enforce our policies so please review these policies carefully before using Liner’s products and services. If we learn that you have violated our Usage Policy, we may throttle, suspend, or terminate your access to Liner’s products and services. If you discover that our model outputs are inaccurate, biased or harmful, please notify us at [email protected] or report it directly in the product through the “Unsatisfied” thumbs down button.
